Cole Head House Renovation at the University of Maryland

Temp Air Company completed the full mechanical and plumbing installation for the Cole Head House renovation at the University of Maryland, partnering with JVS Construction to deliver the building’s HVAC, hydronic, plumbing, and ventilation systems within an active university campus and an accelerated construction schedule.

The project included the installation of high-efficiency heating and cooling equipment, hydronic piping, domestic water distribution, sanitary and vent piping, and mechanical ventilation systems designed to provide reliable comfort, energy efficiency, and long-term performance. Extensive coordination among the project team ensured seamless integration of mechanical systems within limited building spaces while maintaining the project schedule.

To meet the aggressive timeline, Temp Air utilized innovative off-site prefabrication of mechanical and plumbing assemblies, reducing on-site labor, improving installation quality, and increasing overall construction efficiency.
